A net is a ruled 2-D pattern that folds to make a 2-D shape. 

These are the patterns or nets for making cubes. 

These are my nets that I folded into their 3-D shapes/nets.

I would not like to make one of these again because it is hard to fold and tape.

I would make these depending on the size you make.
